| Aberdeen Cupcakes' owner Janet Whitelock's love of baking started as a young girl and has progressed into a thriving business. When the little girl grew up and had her own family she took joy in making novelty birthday cakes for them at a time when they were still novel. It wasn't long before the local community wanted a slice of the action and this led to the opening of a shop in Glasgow. After relocating to Aberdeenshire in 2002, the business is now run from Janet's farmhouse kitchen, specialising in cupcakes and cupcake bouquets, which make an interesting alternative to the traditional wedding cake. |
| At Aberdeen Cupcakes all the cakes are home baked and are made to order, with a bygone era taste you cannot deny. Only the freshest ingredients are used and artificial colourings and flavourings are avoided as much as possible, making every delicious bite a delight that your guests will remember. |
Individually designed cakes are an enjoyable challenge and Janet relishes creating new ideas and conquering difficult designs. A great deal of pride is felt in presenting the cake to the happy couple for their wedding day. Any cake, in any style and any flavour is possible for any occasion. Janet feels customer satisfaction is paramount and has decades of satisfied customers who have all been happy with her wonderful cakes.
